Sitting at home and you can't visit the salon because of the lockdown wondering how to make your skin glow. Instead of reaching out to harmful fairness creams you can make your own skin potions at home. Let me help you with some natural ingredients that can make your skin brighter.
1. Milk : Raw milk is one of those things that are easily available inside your own kitchen. Tyrosine is the hormone that controls your melanin and sometimes it can lead to skin darkening and raw milk controls the secretion of this hormone.
2. Honey : Not only does honey reduce your pigmentation and scars due to its bleaching agent it also is an antibacterial agent that helps to prevent pimples and zits.
3. Besan : Gram Flour works as a natural exfoliator and removes dead skin as a result new layer of skin grows and automatically your skin looks glowing.
4.Turmeric : If you have ever asked your grandmother how to make your skin glow one of her ingredient in her magical face pack would be turmeric. Turmeric is not just an anti inflammatory but it is also an anti oxidant that helps to make your dull skin glow.
5.Lemon : Lemon is rich in vitamin C it helps in reducing hyperpigmentation. It again interrupts the production of tyrosine.
6. Yoghurt : Yoghurt not only helps you in your weight loss journey but it also helps you get glowing skin. It has lactic acid which works as a lightening agent. It helps you remove dead cells and expose a new layer of skin.
7. Cucumber : One of the best ingredient for fairer skin is cucumber the reason why is because the ph balance of your skin and cucumber is the same so it works as a natural acid mantle.
8. Potatoes : Not only is Potato my favourite veggie but it is important in my skin care routine. Potatoes act as a bleaching agent, they are rich in vitamin c and the starch in it helps you get rid of dark spots.
Milk and Honey
Mix one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of raw milk. Apply it in circular motion leave it on for 15 mins and wash with tepid water. For dry skin you can use malai instead of milk.
Besan and Rosewater
Mix two tablespoon of besan with two tablespoon of rosewater. Apply in circular motion leave it on for 15 mins and wash with cold water. Perfect for oily skin.
Fruit Pack
Mash papaya, banana in equal potions and add two tablespoon of cream. Add few drops of lemon and apply it all over your face leave it on for 20 mins. Wash with warm water.
Turmeric, Lemonjuice and Yoghurt
Mix one teaspoon turmeric, one teaspoon yoghurt and two teaspoon lemon juice. Apply and leave it for 15 mins then apply little hot water massage gently in circular motions. wash with cold water for glowing skin.
Sandalwood Powder, Cucumber and Rosewater
Mix one tablespoon of Sandalwood powder, half cucumber and rosewater. Apply and leave it for 15 mins to dry. Wash with cold water. For pigmented skin repeat twice a week.
Potato, Honey and Rosewater
Grate a small potato add one teaspoon of honey and a few drops of rosewater. Apply and leave for 20 mins and wash with cold water.
